Does Yahweh Confuse His Followers? What does it mean that God is not the author of confusion?  One of the things that can happen to us whenever we are following the heavenly father and being Christian is that we can become confused in our walk. Not all of us go through this where we are confused or we lose track of ourselves, or we lose track of what it is that we are supposed to be doing. But there are a lot of us who become distracted and we lose sight of what it is that we are supposed to be doing for the Lord in this time in an hour. But I am here to tell you that the confusion does not come from the heavenly father himself, but from the kingdom of darkness. That’s right the Lord does not confuse his own people, but we get sidetracked away from the light. “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: and if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭25‬-‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬ In the four gospels when Yahusha spoke to the Pharisees, he was telling them that no kingdom can work against itself and stand. This was when the Pharisees were watching Yahusha heal a man who was plagued with demons, then they accuse him of healing in Baal’s name. Baal was a false god of the gentiles that Hebrew people where accused by Yahweh for worshiping. The Pharisees sad this because they were jealous of all the attention that Yahusha was getting, but that almost led other people who were standing by to become confused. And that was not the first time that people lied on the Lord during his ministry, but several people accused him of going against Moses’s law. The very people who were supposed to be looking for his arrival and believing in him, instead created confusion amongst the holy people. This is how confusion comes about. If you are not paying attention to what the Lord is doing and understanding his word, you can find yourself confusing mass groups of other people who are listening to every word that you are staying. This is why it is important and to double check what it is that you are speaking, teaching, and learning about. The confusion can get so bad that it can cause you to come against somebody who is innocent and demand that this person is punished when they did everything correct. If you remember that our Lord and Savior was sacrificed because he was accused of blasphemy, and this led the people to become confused and to come against their Lord and Savior. Although this was supposed to happen because it was written and for the people salvation, it was a sad moment to see a group of people decide to kill someone who was there to save them. And this treatment did continue to happen to his disciples soon after. Our Elohim is not a God of confusion, he is the truth, the way, and the life. And the Holy Spirit guides us into all things righteous and true. He is our shepherd, and his staff brings us comfort. He leads us into greener pastures, he is our shield and buckler. He gives us the holy armor to protect us from all the fiery darts of the enemy. Now does that sound like somebody who confuses his people, no, it does not! If you ever feel confused, and you do not know what to do or what to say in a time when things get tough or even unbearable, call unto the Lord! Do not hold back if you feel like crying, then cry! if you feel like yelling, be respectful, but yell! Let him know that you are in distress. Let him know that you are tired, and let him know that you have become confused. Trust the Lord, that he will hear your cry and come to your aid. Just because we don’t always hear about people coming to him after being confused and sometimes confusion can seem so distracting that you don’t know what to do, perfect! You are a perfect candidate to ask for help, but believe that he will come to you quickly and with speed. He will not hesitate to come to you. He will not hesitate to lift you up off the ground, just call on him and he will be there. Joseph’s Dreams Who Was Joseph In The Bible? “And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: for, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.” Genesis‬ ‭37‬:‭5‬-‭11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Joseph was the second youngest son of the 12 Israelite boys, and was highly favored by not only his father, but also God himself. Joseph story actually begins not when he’s born, even though his birth was a victory for his mother Rachel. But his story actually begins with his father Jacob, who is now called Israel, favored Joseph over his brothers. And to show this affection he actually gave Joseph a coat of many colors, and this is where Joseph story begins, with favoritism and an elevation that actually that should have belonged to the firstborn. In the Israelite culture it is very common that you will hear that the first born in every family seems to always receive a lot of the blessings from their parents, and we still do this today. But the Lord doesn’t actually work that way and we’ll see this time and time again where the second born will be elevated over the first born. For example: Kane and Abel, Abraham and Haran, Perez and Zara, and Adam and Yahusha. You can see time and time again that the Lord will choose the next in line over the first. So it’s not a shock that Joseph was actually chosen over all his brothers, and he was destined for something great. Joseph actually had two dreams that he told to his brothers and his father. The first dream was of him and his brothers standing in a wheat field, and they were gathering wheat and making bales of wheat. The wheat of the brothers would fall over and bow down to Joseph’s wheat that stood upright and did not fall down to the ground. This burned his brothers and made them very angry at him because they said are you telling us that you are going to be elevated over us and over the first born. The second dream was a dream that focused on the stars, and all the stars that actually represented his family surrounded his star that was bigger and brighter than all of theirs. And when he told his father about that dream, he also told his brothers. And it made them even angrier at him, and it made them hate him even more. After a while, Joseph Brothers could not find it in their heart to say a kind word to him. “And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.” Genesis‬ ‭37‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭KJV‬‬ But Joseph’s brothers could not stand the favoring that he had on his life. And so the brothers decided to to take their anger and frustration out on their brother Joseph. And they beat him up and threw him into a cistern, not knowing what was going to happen to him. But they soon came to an understanding amongst themselves that they had to deal with their brother, so two merchants showed up on their way to Egypt to do business. They sold Joseph to the merchants for 20 pieces of silver. As time went on Joseph’s brother had to live with the guilt of what they did to their own kin. But Joseph was sold to a man named Potipher, an Egyptian, who was an officer of Pharaoh. And Joseph was added to Potiphers household, and overtime was seen for his many good qualities, that he was resourceful, reliable, and honest. Anything that Joseph worked on or touched prospered, this is because the Lord was with him even though he was sold into slavery. Joseph did very well for himself being in Potipher’s household. He was raised over everybody else in the house and he was given dominion over all things except for Porter‘s wife, because she was a reflection of Potipher. Potipher’s wife seem to have an interest in Joseph in desiring him and wanting him, and she made sure to let him know that. Joseph denied his flesh and told his mistress know that he could not go against Potipher knowing that his kindness elevated him in such a way, that he wanted for nothing. This angered Potipher wife and she tried to force herself on him, and Joseph ran and left his clothes in her hands as he took off and ran away from the temptation. This was a test for Joseph because he was elevated so high that he could have just simply been with her and things would’ve been hush-hush, probably for a while, but instead he kept his honor because

Tamar’s Determination

Tamar’s Determination Who Is Tamar In The Bible? “And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar. And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him. And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.” Genesis‬ ‭38‬:‭6‬-‭10‬ ‭KJV‬‬ A lot of people overlook the story of Tamar in the Bible, but her story is a powerful story about being persistent when things are working against you and trusting in the Lord. Tamar’s story begins when she is married to Judah‘s first son Er and is given to him to wife. When Er does not fulfill what he is supposed to do, which is to produce children for the Lord, the Lord slew him because he was doing wicked things. The Bible does not specify what wicked things that he was doing, but it was bad enough that the Lord took him out. It is also tradition that if a man passes away that the brothers will take the widowed wife in his household, taking her on as a wife. It is his duty to have children for the deceased brother if he did not have any children when he was alive. But Onan did not want to have children unto his brother because that would mean that they would not be his. So he also did wickedly before the Lord and he was also slain. This put Tamar in a very difficult situation because now she has two deceased men that has passed suddenly. even Judah did not want to give her to his third son, Shelah, who is also his last son. so Judah told Tamar to go to her father‘s house and stay there until Shelah was grown. Tamar wanted to have children for the Lord and this is probably because it is extremely important and honorable for a woman to have children for the Lord. it also solidifies your position in the family when you have children by the man that you married. When we have children we do not realize that all of our children actually do belong to the Lord. Yahusha even stated that the kingdom of heaven is made for little ones such as these, and he was referring to the children that was being brought to him to be blessed. “When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face. And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me? And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it? And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.” Genesis‬ ‭38‬:‭15‬-‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ As I said, Judah did not want to give Tamar to his third and last son Shelah. When Tamar saw that she was not given to him to wife and bring up seed to his brothers, she decided to do something very drastic. Tamar took off her widow clothes and put on clothing that was for a harlot. If you do not know what a harlot is, it is a woman who sells herself to other men. She did this because she found out that Judah was going to sheer his sheep in Timnath, and she decided to meet him on the side of the road offering her services. This idea played out very well and she was very smart to receive collateral because they did not have proper payment. Judah gave the harlot woman his signet, bracelet, and staff to hold until he could bring her proper payment. So after Judah and Tamar had relations with one another, Tamar went back to her home and put back on her widows clothing. To us this might seem extreme to go as far as to act like a harlot, and then to meet your father-in-law in the streets so that he will have children under his sons. but we forget that the Lord is the writer of our stories, and he guides our lives in the direction that he would like for us to go. The Lord probably saw Tamar‘s distress and how she was unfairly being seen as the problem. Tamar’s determination to bring children unto to the Lord is a honorable and respectful plight, and the Lord probably saw the heart of Tamar and saw her pure intentions. “And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.”

Yahushua Is The Resurrection

Yahushua Is The Resurrection The Lord Is The End Of The Tunnel When we go about our day, we do not realize that we are under attack every single day, and that we are always needing to be aware of what is going on around us. If you do not know what I’m talking about I am referring to the spiritual world, the one created and controlled by Yahweh. When we wake up in the morning, we find ourselves extremely tired, so tired that we don’t even have energy to get up and fix a proper breakfast, or we’ve been out all night partying and drinking. For some of us, choosing to ignore someone who is in need, and walking away from someone who has their hand out need of help. These are just a few symptoms of being inspired and lead by the kingdom of darkness, and not of light which is the kingdom of Heaven. Some of us are even dealing with harsher demonic forces that are taking a toll on our lives in a visible way, and is trying to take down our loved ones. Pulling us into a deeper depression and pulling us into a dark pit. But we are not alone. We have the heavenly father and his heavenly kingdom fighting for us every step of the way. See a lot of times, we remember that the Lord is our savior, but we also forget that he is the resurrection not just at the end of times on the last day, but right now in this time and in this hour. “I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:37-44 KJV When the Lord was talking to the Pharisees and he was telling them that they do the deeds of their father, he was telling them that they do the deeds of the devil. Whatever deeds that you decide to do for your every day living, can let people know who is your father spiritually and what kingdom do you listen to. The Pharisees were teachers of the Scriptures, they had the written word. But they were blind and could not see what the Lord was doing, and they could not hear what Yahushua was saying. The Pharisees had their own idea of what to expect when it came to the Messiah, and they were more preoccupied with being concerned of what the Romans were going to do to their temple. This is why Yahushua was talking to them about who their father was. Because if they knew and understood who their father was, then they would know to do the works that represented their heavenly father. But instead of recognizing that their heavenly father had sent his only begotten son, then they would have welcomed him with open arms and not harsh words. How much are we not listening to the Lord when he is speaking to us? Do our works reflect the will of the father, or are we reflecting our own will, which is the will of the devil. It is imperative that we keep our eyes on our Lord and Savior remembering that he is the lamb of the heavenly father, and look for his will and not our own. “Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.” ‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭21‬-‭27‬ ‭KJV‬‬ When the Lord was talking to Martha, and he told her that Lazarus was not dead that he will rise again. She said “I know that he will rise again on the last day for the resurrection.” And the Lord looked at Martha and told her I am the resurrection. How often do we see that we are going through a hard time with a difficult darkness, and we forget that the resurrection is here now. When the Lord told Martha, I am the resurrection he was letting her know that you did not have to wait until the end of the ages until the end time to be redeemed that he would do it for you now, and when she said “I believe” that’s when the

All The Wonderful Things You Can Do In The Church Body Growing In The Church All The Wonderful Things You Can Do In The Church Body   Sometimes we don’t realize it, but the church has a lot of things that we can do that we really underestimate. We go to church, and some of us actually kind of, you know, sit in the back and don’t do much interacting with others. These fellow church members try to not go to the front seats during service, or they are not interested in getting a little more involved. When those of us do this we kind of don’t realize what we really have in our assembly. Whenever I was younger, one of the things I kind of regret now that I’m older is I wish I had been more involved at the church. I wish I had did some of the things that they had available to us, or at least asked about it. For example, back in the day my old church used to have a choir, a dance team, musicians, and ushers. But I never put any real effort to try and be involved. But there are a lot of things that I do now that I did not do back then and one of the things is volunteering. Volunteering can be so fulfilling and is one of the most wonderful things that we can do to not only support our church, but also support our peers. We do not realize how much our peers, our fellow church attendees, need that extra connection and communities that they may not have at home. There are a few things that I am going to talk about so we can get a better understanding of what our churches can offer. The four things I am going to talk about are: small groups, volunteering, missionary trips, and tithing.   Small groups One of the things that the Lord told us to do was not to forsake the assembly. The assembly is the Church, the Church body to be exact! When we are actually being active and apart of the church, one of the things we will join is a small group. Where we are able to commune with people and share with people on a higher-level instead of just showing up at church. Yes, we do go to church to receive the message from the word, but it’s so helpful to be able to be apart of a small group and be able to ask for help when you need prayer. And when you need guidance and maybe even have a bible study partner. being able to commune with someone and talk to them whenever things get tough is one of the most wonderful and most fulfilling things, so when you end up in a heap of trouble and you just need somebody’s shoulder to lean on, you can trust your small group because they know that they are there for that specific reason. This is how I actually met my own small group whenever I ended up in a heap of trouble, and it was spiritual trouble. And when I joined they instantly prayed for me and welcomed me in the group.   Volunteering Have you ever came into church and have somebody greet you or when you went to the coffee department somebody nice checked you out or when you went into service somebody handed you a bible that you might have needed. These are all positions of volunteering. Even the worship team and today also the media team. These are all positions that are for volunteering at church. One of the things that you can do to serve and to show that you have good stewardship to the Lord is to volunteer for your local church. If you do not have a Church it’s always really good to look for one that is nearby you. And that is Bible based, and is community based and you will find the most wonderful church to be a part of. Volunteering allows you to be able to help your church to thrive because there’s always things to do, like events, and serve days. And churches they really are working on a budget because they also give back to the community and to non-profit organizations. So they rely on the helping hands of their members.   Tithing Giving back to the community and to your church can be one of the most fulfilling things that you can possibly ever do. But unfortunately, sometimes we can find ourselves a little stubborn about our finances, we don’t want to see our bank account go down so we try not to give. Or leave it for the next person to do, so let me tell you how important it is to tithe at your church. “And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” ‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭42‬-‭44‬ ‭KJV‬‬ When we give back to the church, we actually help our church grow, and we help our members to be able to get resources if they need the help. When we give from our heart and give to the church, we are telling the Lord that we find his message so valuable that we are wanting to help forward the heavenly kingdoms message. That we are wanting to support Yahushua’s ministry, and we can still do this today by tithing. The Holy Armor And How To Wear It

The Holy Armor And How To Wear It How Do I Put On The Holy Armor Of God? “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬ This would not be the first time that I have written about the holy armor of Yahweh, and it probably will not be my last. The holy armor of Yahweh is a gift that comes from the Lord to help and aid us throughout our entire walk with him. It actually turns out that it’s more than just armor that you put on to shield you from the enemy, it is also something that helps you to walk in The Heavenly Father. This armor is so special that we actually underestimate what the armor does for us, and how it actually is used in dire situations. In my first article ((https://theheavenlymeal.com/the-holy-armor-of-god/)), I spoke about the holy armor of god but only briefly mention each armor piece and described what the armor as a whole does you. But since then a whole year has gone by, and I have actually been in quite a few spiritual battles since then. And I thank the Holy Spirit that we, And yes I’m gonna say “we” because me and the Holy Spirit we’re together going through this battle, but we got through each and every situation and spiritual battle together. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬-‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ When the Lord gave us the holy armor, his intentions was to protect us from fiery darts of the enemy and from princess and principalities that are in heavenly places. So each armor has a purpose to accomplish a task that is necessary when we are in battle. As the scripture Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ says: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” So before we get into each piece of the armor, let’s talk about how the armor is a posture. This will set the mind on what you are hearing and listening to. The holy armor when it is worn properly protects you from attack such as: gluttony, anger, being impatient, selfishness, coveting what others have, and adultery. These are just a few examples of some of the attacks that the holy armor protects us from. The holy armor dresses eyes and keeps us in the likeness of our Lord and Savior Yahush. So now let’s go over the pieces of armor. First is the helmet of salvation. The helmet of salvation is just as it is described, it is the salvation that we have inherited from the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior. The helmet of salvation when worn properly protects us from the fiery darts that attacks are mind. Satan loves to attack the mind of the Lord‘s followers. This is why the Lord tells us to protect our ear gates and our eye gates to watch out for what it is that we may be taking in in what we are watching and listening to. This also includes what we are agreeing to with our decision-making, and this is the helmet of salvation. Next is the breast plate of righteousness. The righteousness is not our own, but it belongs to the heavenly father. When we wear the breast plate of righteousness, we are reflecting our Lord and Savior Yahusha, for example: love, kindness, generosity, wisdom, truth, honesty, charity, and love for others. These are just a few examples of what characteristics we reflect. When we reflect Yahusha, he is who people see and not us when we talk to, pray for, or communicate with others, and this is a good thing. Because this means that us as the assembly will walk in unison instead of our own desires. Next is the belt of truth. The belt of truth is a spiritual belt that is tied around the waist and it actually holds the breast plate of righteousness together. This is because the truth of the word is needed in order to know what righteousness is, to be specific the Lords righteousness. For you to wear this armor, you would have to read the word and to understand who the heavenly father is what he has done for us and why we follow him. This is important to our walk to have the word not just memorize, but inside of us to where it takes over our lives. This is why the Lord says to get into your word daily so the word can land on good soil, and grow bearing fruit. Next armor is so important the word says above all hold up your shield of faith. The shield of faith is one of the most important next to the helmet of salvation. You see the helmet of salvation guarantees you the salvation of the Lord and his sacrifice, but the shield of faith is the faith that you have in the Lord most high Yahweh and his sovereignty. Jacob and Yahweh Why did God choose Jacob Over Esau?   “The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. The Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.” When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.” Genesis‬ ‭25‬:‭22‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Jacob’s story starts when he was in the womb of Rebekah, with his twin brother Esau. Rebekah was dealing with the unborn boys fighting inside of her, so she went to inquire of the Lord Yahweh to ask him why where they fighting. The Lord informed Rebecca that she had two nations in her womb. This is meaning that the brothers were going to be two separate nations, and that the two separate nations were going to be at odds with each other. But even more than that, the Lord informed her about something very special. He informed her that the oldest will serve the youngest and that the youngest will become headship. This is a big deal because this means that the youngest was going to be the one who The Heavenly Father was going to work through, so the Lord already knew ahead of time what was going to happen to make Jacob become head over the household. Now, when the boys were finally born things immediately became interesting. When Esau came out of the womb he was first born, and he was a hairy baby with red hair so they named him Esau, meaning red hair. But Jacob came out of the womb next holding Esau’s heel. This means that Jacob inherited a name that was called a sub-planter. A sub-planter is someone who can elevate over somebody else by taking over their land or by overpowering them. And this is very important for when they grew up. When the boys grew up Esau became a man of the fields, so he loved to plant harvest and hunt for animals. Jacob was a man of literature so he was a man who dwell in the tent, but I do believe that Jacob knew how to take care of sheep at this time also. “The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was content to stay at home among the tents. Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob. Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.) Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.” “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?” But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.” Genesis‬ ‭25‬:‭27‬-‭34‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Now Jacob and Esau have grown up and they are now young adults. On one hard-working day Esau comes from the field and he sees that Jacob has prepared himself a red lentil pottage meal. Esau demanded that Jacob gives him the pottage, “for he was so hungry that he was going to die.” This is an extreme way of acting when you come off of the field at work, but this is what Esau felt. That he was so hungry that he was going to pass out. So instead of going to the house and seeing if there was something to eat or instead of just asking for some of the pottage that Jacob fixed, to see if his brother would so kindly prepare something for him too, instead he sold his birthright. Now some people get mad at Jacob and they say,”well how dare Jacob demand Esau‘s birthright for food, if he was a real brother he would have given Esau the pottage of food.” But people forget who really wrote this story, this is the work of the heavenly father not just the work of Jacob and Esau. Although we have free will Jacob and Esau are not only children of their mother and father, but they are also on the heavenly fathers world stage. The Lord needs to honor his promise that he gave to Abraham. Esau was not interested in learning about the heavenly father. How can the heavenly father work with someone who does not want to learn about him? Jacob did want to learn about the heavenly father. There is another book called the book of Jasher that explains how Esau did not want to make a connection with the heavenly father, he did not want to learn about the ways of the Lord. But Jacob did want to learn about the ways of The Heavenly Father, and this made Jacob surpass Esau in headship in the Lords eyes. So you could say, Peter denied his Lord three times in fact, and he was given forgiveness and mercy so why not Esau? Renew Your Mind With The Word Of Yahweh How to renew your mind with Gods word? “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Imagine that you are cleaning up your home, and you are cleaning the kitchen. You wash the dishes, sweep and mop the floor, pick up all the stuff laid on the eating table, and straighten up the curtains. You then go to the living room to clean up. You clean up the living room couches, you vacuum the floor, you put the pillows where they belong, you dust off the plants, and you straighten up the curtains. Then you realize you have a plate that was left in the living room, so you take it to the kitchen. When you get to the kitchen you see that it is once again, a whole mess, like you never cleaned it! All the stuff that you had cleaned was placed back to being dirty. This frustrates you but you clean it again and go back to the living room. Then you find that the living room has also been dirtied back up again after you have just cleaned it not to long ago. What is going on? What is it that is making this problem? Well, the problem is that you’re old ways are still living with you. Even though you are getting up and cleaning your environment, your old ways are going right behind you and dirtying it right back up again. This is why Yahushua our Lord and Savior says to renew your mind by taking in the living word of Yahweh. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ When the Lord tells us to renew our minds, he is telling us to read his heavenly word. When we read his word and take it in, it gets inside of us and it transforms us into a new person. We are to read, study and meditate on the living word and this is how we renew our minds. Just as much as we watch TV or how we read our favorite book every day. You need to read the Heavenly Father’s holy word every day and absorb it into your mind so it stays with you. This is a good thing because it means that you are actually becoming more like our Lord and Savior, Yahushua. When we become in his likeness, we begin to take on his characteristics. We begin to wear the holy armor, and we remember his salvation. That he died for our sins and was risen again. then we wear the breastplate of righteousness, which means we reflect him out there into the world and we have his characteristics. And so we live, love, and treat others in his likeness. We then wear the belt of truth, this comes from reading, studying and believing in the word. Next the Heavenly Father is our shield of faith and we wear him as our shield. We don’t forget that he is our provider, protector, and our Lord and Savior. He is also our shoes of peace, meaning he gives us peace as we live for him. We also have the sword of the spirit, where we actually use the Lords word by declaring The Heavenly Fathers decrees into our lives and in the world. This is how he makes us new and this is why nothing evil can stand in the Lord’s presence because he is holy and sovereign above all things. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ So it is very important to read the holy word, renew your mind, and to take it in just as much as we do everything else in the world. And we should actually take in the word more than the things of the world, because the word dose not profit as the Heavenly Kingdom dose. The Heavenly Father wants the best for us, and wants us to be successful in our walk with him. He does not want us out into the world, not knowing who he is or how to fight or to know who he is to us. Belief and Faith That Moves Mountains Can God Move Mountains? When I was a child I was told something that stuck out to me for the rest of my life and that was, “to move mountains you must have the faith of a mustard seed”. Now that I am a adult I still have trouble understanding this saying. Having the faith of a mustard seed was a parable from Yahusha himself, and it was very important to him because he did not like it when people only had little belief and faith. When Yahusha and his disciples were teaching the word to those who had a desire to hear the heavenly message, there were people who needed healing from sickness and demon attacks. One in particular, a man brought his son to the Lords disciples to heal him and they could not. When the Lord heard about this he said to his disciples “you unbelieving generation, how much shall I suffer you …. oh ye have little faith”. He healed the child and the disciples asked why they could not heal the child. Yahusha answered them saying “This healing requires prayer and fasting”. This might lead you to believe this healing is about prayer and fasting but the Lords frustration was about their little belief and faith. Yahusha emphasized about belief and faith with another lady who suffered from constant bleeding. Yahusha was passing by a lady and he had a crowed of people around him. This lady suffered greatly from constantly bleeding for several years and she was deemed unclean, and in those days you could not touch unclean people and you had to stay away from them. She had such a desire to be healed that she ran through the crowed, because she believed that if she could just touch his robe she would be healed of her affliction. When she got to him and touched his robe the Lord stopped and asked who touched me, because he felt power leave him. The lady spoke up and said “Lord it was me”. When the Lord spoke to her he said “daughter your faith has made you whole”. This took a tremendous amount of faith to do this because she was risking being stoned. As you can see Yahusha has been trying to tell us that having just a little faith is not going to cut it, but a lot of faith and belief in our Lord Yahusha is what is going to move those mountains. Surrender To The Holy Spirit How To Surrender To The Holy Spirit? Someone told me recently what surrendering to the Holy Spirit was to them, and they told me that surrendering to the Holy Spirit was like the summer breeze. Freeing and beautiful, and goes where ever it is lead by The Heavenly Father to go. But for me surrendering to the Holy Spirit is like a trail walk, a beautiful journey that challenges you in your life and takes you through various places to a destination, and the journey is a treat. This lead me to understand that surrendering to the Holy spirit is not the same for everyone, and to me, the friend that I asked about their experience had a more pleasant experience with surrendering to the Holy Spirit than I did. My experience was a little more structured and grounded. When I heard his response to surrendering to the Holy Spirit I wanted my journey to be more like that, free and flowing. But not everyone’s experience with the Holy Spirit is going to be the same, we are all different, and the Holy Spirit knows this. So when we surrender we are to let go of taking charge or “let go of the steering wheel and get out of the drivers seat” as the saying goes.
