Romans 5: 17-19

Romans 5: 17-19 By One We Fell, By Another We Are Risen! “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:17-19 KJVFor by one we fell, but by another, we are risen! This is so important to our walk with The Heavenly Father that we are able to be risen again by one who is our Lord and Savior, Yahushua. That we are able to take hold of the covenant, thanks to our Lord, who has died for our sins and rose to sit at the right hand of our Elohim. When Adam and Eve had fallen from grace with The Heavenly Father and they lost their covering, they took the rest of humanity that came after them with them. This brought in sin to humanity and separation from our Heavenly Father for the rest of the generations after. The first sin in the world was when Cain killed Abel, and this introduced sin into the world after Eden. This caused for the next generations after to have sin close to them in a way where it affects them so much it keeps them from making a connection with their Elohim. There are only two kingdoms out there, and that is, the kingdom of heaven which is life, and the kingdom of darkness which is death, and we are in a battle for our souls. The question is which kingdom are you a part of? Which kingdom do you surrender to? Do you align with life, or do you align with death? Because there are only two kingdoms and you are only with God or you are a person who is with the devil. All of us who are believers walk in Christ and the road becomes very narrow and narrow and narrower than ever before. The Heavenly Father is weaving it down to where people are having to choose either the ways of the world, which is the ways of evil and darkness or the ways of our Heavenly Father, which is seeking first the kingdom of heaven and then all these other things that we desire and need will be given to us. “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3 KJV  We need to realize that every time that we step out of our house we are in a spiritual battle, we are in a war and this enemy is trying to take us out. By taking out the people we love, by taking out ourselves and by taking out our connection with Yahweh, our God! Our Elohim, our Lord of Spirits! And even the enemy will dwindle your connection with the Lord in the way that you think about him. The Lord confronted me about my own thought process one time and it was about a topic that a lot of us women are confronted with all the time in the world. He asked me inside my heart, why do I think so negatively in the way that I do because those thoughts are decay. What I learned was that our thoughts can separate us from The Heavenly Father, and they can be thoughts that comes from darkness or from the heavenly kingdom.We need to realize that we are surrounded by a kingdom of darkness that will distract us with every little thing that it’s got to try and pull us away from righteousness. We have to start realizing that we are being played here, were being tricked out of our salvation, our live and souls forever. Our lives that we have here on earth are but a vapor, but the enemy is trying to take the one after this, the everlasting life in the presence of The Heavenly Father. When our Lord Yahushua died on the cross, he died for all of our sins so that we would be washed clean by the blood of the lamb. His sacrifice took away all of our transgressions so that we would be made new before our heavenly father. And when he rose after three days and went up to heaven to ascend to The Father, we were all risen with him in Christ. Although we may have fallen into a world of sin that was cut off from The Heavenly Father because of the fall of Adam, we are now grafted back into redemption and everlasting life because of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Yahushua Hamashiach. Keeping Your Eyes On The Father

Keeping Your Eyes On The Father Trust The Lord! In the book of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego came against a really difficult decision. To either obey the world‘s king Nebuchadnezzar and bow down to his false god, or to obey their one and only true Elohim. Who has always been there for them and has liberated them whenever trouble came their way. Because of Nebuchadnezzar’s threat to worship the false god or die, these three boys faced a challenge that tried to take their faith and take away their lives at the same time. But they knew something that the others did not. While everyone else worshiped false idols and had ill placed hope in things that would not provide for them, they new they had the one true living God with them. They had on their side the one true Lord of Spirits who would backed them up through everything, Yahweh! They were willing to risk their lives to stand in their faith and belief in The Heavenly Father, and in the end these three boys were saved from a fiery pit that they were thrown into by Nebuchadnezzar’s men. And after Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego where thrown into the fire pit, Nebuchadnezzar saw four in the fire instead of three! Because the Lord was in the fire with them! So they were never alone through the challenge that they were going through, but instead the Lord was with them in the fire. When we keep our eyes on the heavenly father strongholds break mountains move things that we have been struggling with begins to just fall away and melt away. This is something that happened to me whenever an evil tried to come against me and try to take my mind into a negative space. The Lord has been working on me to think positively and to remove negative thinking because it counters what he’s trying to do and it actually encourages the kingdom of darkness to be more in your life and you’ll get more of that instead of the Lord’s righteous ways. So I noticed that my thought process was in a downward negative spiral and I cast it out. I said no this is not how I’m going to think, this is how I’m gonna think. I’m gonna bring in the kingdom of heaven into my thought process, love, kindness, generosity, caring, love of your neighbors and even the assembly. Keeping our eyes on The Heavenly Father calls down all of the blessings and gifts from the heavenly kingdom that he already has lined up for us, and this also brings his righteousness into our lives. Shadrack Meshach in the Bendigo are not the only ones who had to keep their eyes on the heavenly father to get out of their fiery pit. But also Peter, who was one of the 12 disciples also had to keep his eyes on Yahoo Shia when he was in the storm so that he would not drown. When Peter was in the storm out at sea with the other 12 disciples in the boat, he told the Lord to call him out there to the water and he would go out there, and he did, and he kept his eyes on Yahoo the entire time. But when he took his eyes off of him and began to look at the storm that was all around him, raging and crashing against the boat and hearing all of that destruction and waves in that loudness, and that roar from the waves, he began to fall in sync and he had to call for the heavenly father to come and get him and of course the Lord saved him. Trust!

Trust! There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29: 11 Trusting in our Heavenly Father is the one of the most important things that we could ever do in our walk in Christ. Trust in our Lord is one of the foundations of which we stand on in following him. One thing that the Lord taught me in the beginning of my walk was to correct my stance and my posture on how I approached him. And it was about how I trusted him. I had such a difficult time trusting in my walk in Christ that it showed in how I spoke to people, in my finances, and how I viewed everyone else around me. The Heavenly Father could see it plain as day in the way that I spoke with him, and I wouldn’t come to him for any help with my situations, and I had an attitude. We don’t even realize how much of our attitude really comes across and shows the Lord how much we really trust him. When I think about Abraham and Lot’s story, I can really see how much Abraham surrendered fully to the Lord. That he trusted him and believed in him that the Lord would deliver on all of his promises, and that he would fulfill what he was going to do for him. Lot on the other hand, who is Abraham‘s nephew, did not trust in Yahweh. It is not that he didn’t know who The Heavenly Father was, it’s just that he did not trust or have a connection with the most high Yahweh. When we show trust and we give our Heavenly Father all of our trust, we are showing him that we believe in him. We are showing him that we know that he is going to come through with what he promised us. So we are willing to go forth and do our part without even being given anything just yet because we have trust in him, we have faith in him. We know he’s going to deliver on what it is that he said he was going to do, but more than that, we trust that the Lord is going to be there for us throughout it all. That he’s never going to abandon us, and that he’s never going to leave us. That’s what Abraham understood about our Lord, even when Isaac’s life was on the line. Meaning when the Lord asked Abraham to deliver up Isaac as a living sacrifice, Abraham trusted in the Lord that he would deliver his son back to him. Abraham knew that The Heavenly Father was going to bring back Isaac, because the promise went through Isaac not through Ishmael. So how much do we actually trust in our Lord like Abraham? Our heavenly father is going to deliver on anything that he says to us. We have to give him our all so that we can understand how faithful he truly is.   Guidance!

Guidance!

Guidance! The Lord establishes your steps.  “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” this is a verse from proverbs 16:9 and it is a really great wisdom book that has clear instructions on how to be very wise with the decisions that you make in life. Especially when you’re following The Heavenly Father. It talks about how people will make their plans, but how the Lord is the one who guides you in the path that you should actually go. Guidance is very similar to surrender and obedience, and I have talked about each of these if you are interesting to read about them. When you allow our Lord to guide your footsteps he begins to take you in to places that you would never have been able to get to on your own. And actually I do believe that it’s Yahushua who guide your footsteps because the Lord Yahweh gave him to us, and us to him, and so he is over us. But guidance is so important to our walk with Yahweh because the whole entire world is under the Lord‘s feet. The world is a footstool to The Heavenly Father. And when we are guided by the Lord, everything is under his power, and the world is something that he has created. Now the dysfunction in his world comes from man’s disobedience, but everything is under the Lord’s power. When we go against The Heavenly Fathers will and we do things on our own, that is when we find out that he is still in control. We will end up going where he wants us to go not where we want to go. For a lot of us who are followers in Christ this can be really wonderful, because we love The Heavenly Father. We want him guide us in everything righteous and true and we want to know what he has for us at the end of our walk, or at the beginning, or just enjoying the journey on its own. Guidance actually may seem like as if it is opinionated, or as if it’s not a full requirement. But it’s not a suggestive quality, it actually is the exact same thing as surrendering. With guidance, you have to give up your own desires. You have to give up your own ways in life. You have to look towards The Heavenly Father and seek first the heavenly kingdom, and then all other things will be given to you. When it comes to surrendering and obedience, its very obvious that your will be giving up something when you see those words. But guidance makes you think that you can have is an option, like as if you don’t have to choose to follow the Lord. Like as if you can be with the Lord, and do your own thing at the same time. Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:4-5 ES SURRENDER! Trust!

SURRENDER!

Video link: Joseph’s Dreams 2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.   Romans 12: 1-2 Surrender is one of the most fulfilling things that you can do in your walk with our Lord Yahushua, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. There’s so much that we don’t understand about surrender, and what it actually does for us as followers of Christ. Surrendering to the Heavenly Father can really open righteous doors and a way of life that you never knew existed. Surrendering is not giving up like how the world sees it, it’s actually gaining whenever you are surrendering to The Heavenly Father. You are actually gaining more when you give up your own way, and you begin to walk in the way that the Lord has already paved for you. This allows you to walk with Yahweh in a complete way. Where your experience in the world is not false victory but being truly free, whole, and complete in The Heavenly Father. Thanks to our Lord Yahweh, we have references of true surrender. When we look at the holy Bible and we pay close attention to the Lord‘s holy people. We’ll see that they walked with him in a different way than others did who where in the world. Where they were so surrendered the Lord began to take affect in their lives in a way that we would’ve never dreamed possible. But there are key people in the Bible, who knew about this secret of surrender in what doors it opened from the heavenly Kingdom. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Someone who really saw the secrets of surrender and the effects in their life, and even struggled with it in the beginning was Moses. When we look at Moses and how he first started walking with The Heavenly Father, he did not want to be called. Actually Moses tried to tell the Lord “forgive me, my Lord, would you please call someone else?” He even angered The Heavenly Father because he was so doubtful in himself in going to deliver the holy people from Egypt. But when Moses surrendered to The Heavenly father and obeyed what the Lord asked of him to do, he began to see the Lord‘s power move in his life. And because he was surrendered an obedient, thousands of the Lord’s people were able to leave Egypt. And see miracles that they would’ve never have seen if it wasn’t for being surrendered to our Lord Yahweh. Moses was able to walk up to the Pharaoh and tell him to let the Lord‘s people go, so already we’re seeing the confidence in Moses elevating. Then every single time the Pharaoh ignored the Lord Yahweh’s request a disaster would hit Egypt. Calamities, frogs, locus, they’re drinking water in the river would turn to blood. These are just a few things that would happen when the Lord was able to move through Moses, because Moses had his staff that he would always use to make things happen. And the staff was a gift from the Lord himself. And the wonders didn’t stop there, once the holy people left Egypt and they were in the wilderness. The Lord still kept giving them, blessings upon blessings upon blessings. But the Lord has also shown what happens when you do not surrender. When the holy people kept looking back at Egypt, and they kept desiring the leaks, the Garlic, the comfort despite the fact that they were being mistreated there was nothing that the Lord could do. But the Lord still continued on with his plans with the next generation when it comes to the holy people, he worked through the children. When you are surrendered to The Heavenly Father, he can do much miracles through you, and he still does this today. The Lord is raising people from the dead that we’ve never heard of because the news doesn’t report it. The Lord is healing peoples sicknesses and illnesses, and he’s actually even keeping us with the very breath that are in our bodies. So we can always ask ourselves today what more can we surrender to the Lord Yahweh, and how much more can we ask The Heavenly Father to help us in surrendering? The writing of SURRENDER! Do We Have Obedience?

Do We Have Obedience? What does the Bible say about obedience? “Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Obedience to the heavenly father is greater than gold itself, he actually says that “obedience is greater than sacrifice” 1 Samuel 15: 22. For a lot of us this is really hard, and I mean all of us. There’s not a single person on this planet who does not struggle with obedience even in the smallest factor. But obedience in The Heavenly Father is so vital and is so important to our walk, that it shows how much we as his followers and disciples surrender to him. But it doesn’t mean that we wont still have struggle with obedience in The Heavenly Father. In the Bible, the word talks about obedience as who it is that you obey and surrender to has a huge impact on you. If you happen to obey wickedness and darkness you’ll find yourself on the opposite end of The Heavenly Father, who you surrender to is who you end up obeying. When you surrender to something and it’s not from the heavenly kingdom, you are actually in darkness. This is very detrimental to our walk because we’ll find ourselves in a situation where we think we’re doing right, but we’re actually doing wrong. For example, if a person is a giver, people don’t realize you can actually have two different types of giver spirits. One is a giver from the heavenly kingdom where they give out of love compassion and a really do not expect anything in return, not even a thank you sometimes. A person who has a giver spirit from the world, they give but they do expect a thank you every time and actually might get a little hurt and a little insulted if they don’t receive that thank you and self praise. The difference is when someone do something for you in the world the thank you goes to the person, when someone does something in honor of the Lord the thank you goes up to the Lord. This is because when we as Christians and Believers in Christ give something to some one else in need there is an understanding of, what we have to give comes from The Lord not us as the followers. Surrendering to The Heavenly Father is more about surrendering yourself, surrendering your body, surrendering your attention, and who it is that you surrender everything to. “But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel‬ ‭15‬:‭22‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Jonah was a profit of the Lord, who was sent by The Heavenly Father to Nineveh to give a prophetic word to them of a warning. That if they did not turn their ways around and turn from their wicked ways, he was going to overthrow Nineveh. And Jonah decided out of nowhere that he was going to run away from the presence of God. He was going to go off in disobedience in The Heavenly Father and not go to Neva and give that prophetic word to them. Obedience in our heavenly father is so important when we obey him and we are given a task to do. It’s important to do it because Jonah running away from what he was supposed to do was supposed to help a town full of people. Jonah did not want to go and save those people because he felt like as if they didn’t deserve it he thought that they deserve to be destroyed. But very often we do not understand how important it is that a person is saved over trying to just destroy them. That doesn’t mean that there are not consequences for a person sin. But when you know what can happen to a person if they are separated from Yahweh, you would not be so willing to not go and tell them the prophetic word. When people do not receive the Lord‘s word inside of them and they don’t receive that message that takes them from 0 to 100, they live in perpetual sin continuously without the understanding of what it is that they’re supposed to change from. The word is a double edge sword, not only does it cut down what is attacking, but it cuts down what is in the yields heart also. People also end up in hell when they live in sin, and it is not a vacation. Hell is a place where they torture you and humiliate you over and over and over again. It’s a really horrible place and it’s not something that I would want for my worst enemy. I would rather my enemy to learn from their mistakes, hear the word be changed and become a brother or sister in Christ. Does Yahweh Confuse His Followers?

Does Yahweh Confuse His Followers? What does it mean that God is not the author of confusion?  One of the things that can happen to us whenever we are following the heavenly father and being Christian is that we can become confused in our walk. Not all of us go through this where we are confused or we lose track of ourselves, or we lose track of what it is that we are supposed to be doing. But there are a lot of us who become distracted and we lose sight of what it is that we are supposed to be doing for the Lord in this time in an hour. But I am here to tell you that the confusion does not come from the heavenly father himself, but from the kingdom of darkness. That’s right the Lord does not confuse his own people, but we get sidetracked away from the light. “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: and if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭25‬-‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬ In the four gospels when Yahusha spoke to the Pharisees, he was telling them that no kingdom can work against itself and stand. This was when the Pharisees were watching Yahusha heal a man who was plagued with demons, then they accuse him of healing in Baal’s name. Baal was a false god of the gentiles that Hebrew people where accused by Yahweh for worshiping. The Pharisees sad this because they were jealous of all the attention that Yahusha was getting, but that almost led other people who were standing by to become confused. And that was not the first time that people lied on the Lord during his ministry, but several people accused him of going against Moses’s law. The very people who were supposed to be looking for his arrival and believing in him, instead created confusion amongst the holy people. This is how confusion comes about. If you are not paying attention to what the Lord is doing and understanding his word, you can find yourself confusing mass groups of other people who are listening to every word that you are staying. This is why it is important and to double check what it is that you are speaking, teaching, and learning about. The confusion can get so bad that it can cause you to come against somebody who is innocent and demand that this person is punished when they did everything correct. If you remember that our Lord and Savior was sacrificed because he was accused of blasphemy, and this led the people to become confused and to come against their Lord and Savior. Although this was supposed to happen because it was written and for the people salvation, it was a sad moment to see a group of people decide to kill someone who was there to save them. And this treatment did continue to happen to his disciples soon after. Our Elohim is not a God of confusion, he is the truth, the way, and the life. And the Holy Spirit guides us into all things righteous and true. He is our shepherd, and his staff brings us comfort. He leads us into greener pastures, he is our shield and buckler. He gives us the holy armor to protect us from all the fiery darts of the enemy. Now does that sound like somebody who confuses his people, no, it does not! If you ever feel confused, and you do not know what to do or what to say in a time when things get tough or even unbearable, call unto the Lord! Do not hold back if you feel like crying, then cry! if you feel like yelling, be respectful, but yell! Let him know that you are in distress. Let him know that you are tired, and let him know that you have become confused. Trust the Lord, that he will hear your cry and come to your aid. Just because we don’t always hear about people coming to him after being confused and sometimes confusion can seem so distracting that you don’t know what to do, perfect! You are a perfect candidate to ask for help, but believe that he will come to you quickly and with speed. He will not hesitate to come to you. He will not hesitate to lift you up off the ground, just call on him and he will be there. Growing In The Church

All The Wonderful Things You Can Do In The Church Body Growing In The Church All The Wonderful Things You Can Do In The Church Body   Sometimes we don’t realize it, but the church has a lot of things that we can do that we really underestimate. We go to church, and some of us actually kind of, you know, sit in the back and don’t do much interacting with others. These fellow church members try to not go to the front seats during service, or they are not interested in getting a little more involved. When those of us do this we kind of don’t realize what we really have in our assembly. Whenever I was younger, one of the things I kind of regret now that I’m older is I wish I had been more involved at the church. I wish I had did some of the things that they had available to us, or at least asked about it. For example, back in the day my old church used to have a choir, a dance team, musicians, and ushers. But I never put any real effort to try and be involved. But there are a lot of things that I do now that I did not do back then and one of the things is volunteering. Volunteering can be so fulfilling and is one of the most wonderful things that we can do to not only support our church, but also support our peers. We do not realize how much our peers, our fellow church attendees, need that extra connection and communities that they may not have at home. There are a few things that I am going to talk about so we can get a better understanding of what our churches can offer. The four things I am going to talk about are: small groups, volunteering, missionary trips, and tithing.   Small groups One of the things that the Lord told us to do was not to forsake the assembly. The assembly is the Church, the Church body to be exact! When we are actually being active and apart of the church, one of the things we will join is a small group. Where we are able to commune with people and share with people on a higher-level instead of just showing up at church. Yes, we do go to church to receive the message from the word, but it’s so helpful to be able to be apart of a small group and be able to ask for help when you need prayer. And when you need guidance and maybe even have a bible study partner. being able to commune with someone and talk to them whenever things get tough is one of the most wonderful and most fulfilling things, so when you end up in a heap of trouble and you just need somebody’s shoulder to lean on, you can trust your small group because they know that they are there for that specific reason. This is how I actually met my own small group whenever I ended up in a heap of trouble, and it was spiritual trouble. And when I joined they instantly prayed for me and welcomed me in the group.   Volunteering Have you ever came into church and have somebody greet you or when you went to the coffee department somebody nice checked you out or when you went into service somebody handed you a bible that you might have needed. These are all positions of volunteering. Even the worship team and today also the media team. These are all positions that are for volunteering at church. One of the things that you can do to serve and to show that you have good stewardship to the Lord is to volunteer for your local church. If you do not have a Church it’s always really good to look for one that is nearby you. And that is Bible based, and is community based and you will find the most wonderful church to be a part of. Volunteering allows you to be able to help your church to thrive because there’s always things to do, like events, and serve days. And churches they really are working on a budget because they also give back to the community and to non-profit organizations. So they rely on the helping hands of their members.   Tithing Giving back to the community and to your church can be one of the most fulfilling things that you can possibly ever do. But unfortunately, sometimes we can find ourselves a little stubborn about our finances, we don’t want to see our bank account go down so we try not to give. Or leave it for the next person to do, so let me tell you how important it is to tithe at your church. “And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” ‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭42‬-‭44‬ ‭KJV‬‬ When we give back to the church, we actually help our church grow, and we help our members to be able to get resources if they need the help. When we give from our heart and give to the church, we are telling the Lord that we find his message so valuable that we are wanting to help forward the heavenly kingdoms message. The Holy Armor And How To Wear It How Do I Put On The Holy Armor Of God? “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬ This would not be the first time that I have written about the holy armor of Yahweh, and it probably will not be my last. The holy armor of Yahweh is a gift that comes from the Lord to help and aid us throughout our entire walk with him. It actually turns out that it’s more than just armor that you put on to shield you from the enemy, it is also something that helps you to walk in The Heavenly Father. This armor is so special that we actually underestimate what the armor does for us, and how it actually is used in dire situations. In my first article ((https://theheavenlymeal.com/the-holy-armor-of-god/)), I spoke about the holy armor of god but only briefly mention each armor piece and described what the armor as a whole does you. But since then a whole year has gone by, and I have actually been in quite a few spiritual battles since then. And I thank the Holy Spirit that we, And yes I’m gonna say “we” because me and the Holy Spirit we’re together going through this battle, but we got through each and every situation and spiritual battle together. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬-‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ When the Lord gave us the holy armor, his intentions was to protect us from fiery darts of the enemy and from princess and principalities that are in heavenly places. So each armor has a purpose to accomplish a task that is necessary when we are in battle. As the scripture Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ says: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” So before we get into each piece of the armor, let’s talk about how the armor is a posture. This will set the mind on what you are hearing and listening to. The holy armor when it is worn properly protects you from attack such as: gluttony, anger, being impatient, selfishness, coveting what others have, and adultery. These are just a few examples of some of the attacks that the holy armor protects us from. The holy armor dresses eyes and keeps us in the likeness of our Lord and Savior Yahush. So now let’s go over the pieces of armor. First is the helmet of salvation. The helmet of salvation is just as it is described, it is the salvation that we have inherited from the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior. The helmet of salvation when worn properly protects us from the fiery darts that attacks are mind. Satan loves to attack the mind of the Lord‘s followers. This is why the Lord tells us to protect our ear gates and our eye gates to watch out for what it is that we may be taking in in what we are watching and listening to. This also includes what we are agreeing to with our decision-making, and this is the helmet of salvation. Next is the breast plate of righteousness. The righteousness is not our own, but it belongs to the heavenly father. When we wear the breast plate of righteousness, we are reflecting our Lord and Savior Yahusha, for example: love, kindness, generosity, wisdom, truth, honesty, charity, and love for others. These are just a few examples of what characteristics we reflect. When we reflect Yahusha, he is who people see and not us when we talk to, pray for, or communicate with others, and this is a good thing. Because this means that us as the assembly will walk in unison instead of our own desires. Next is the belt of truth. The belt of truth is a spiritual belt that is tied around the waist and it actually holds the breast plate of righteousness together. This is because the truth of the word is needed in order to know what righteousness is, to be specific the Lords righteousness. For you to wear this armor, you would have to read the word and to understand who the heavenly father is what he has done for us and why we follow him. This is important to our walk to have the word not just memorize, but inside of us to where it takes over our lives. This is why the Lord says to get into your word daily so the word can land on good soil, and grow bearing fruit. Next armor is so important the word says above all hold up your shield of faith. The shield of faith is one of the most important next to the helmet of salvation. You see the helmet of salvation guarantees you the salvation of the Lord and his sacrifice, but the shield of faith is the faith that you have in the Lord most high Yahweh and his sovereignty. Renew Your Mind With The Word Of Yahweh How to renew your mind with Gods word? “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Imagine that you are cleaning up your home, and you are cleaning the kitchen. You wash the dishes, sweep and mop the floor, pick up all the stuff laid on the eating table, and straighten up the curtains. You then go to the living room to clean up. You clean up the living room couches, you vacuum the floor, you put the pillows where they belong, you dust off the plants, and you straighten up the curtains. Then you realize you have a plate that was left in the living room, so you take it to the kitchen. When you get to the kitchen you see that it is once again, a whole mess, like you never cleaned it! All the stuff that you had cleaned was placed back to being dirty. This frustrates you but you clean it again and go back to the living room. Then you find that the living room has also been dirtied back up again after you have just cleaned it not to long ago. What is going on? What is it that is making this problem? Well, the problem is that you’re old ways are still living with you. Even though you are getting up and cleaning your environment, your old ways are going right behind you and dirtying it right back up again. This is why Yahushua our Lord and Savior says to renew your mind by taking in the living word of Yahweh. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬ When the Lord tells us to renew our minds, he is telling us to read his heavenly word. When we read his word and take it in, it gets inside of us and it transforms us into a new person. We are to read, study and meditate on the living word and this is how we renew our minds. Just as much as we watch TV or how we read our favorite book every day. You need to read the Heavenly Father’s holy word every day and absorb it into your mind so it stays with you. This is a good thing because it means that you are actually becoming more like our Lord and Savior, Yahushua. When we become in his likeness, we begin to take on his characteristics. We begin to wear the holy armor, and we remember his salvation. That he died for our sins and was risen again. then we wear the breastplate of righteousness, which means we reflect him out there into the world and we have his characteristics. And so we live, love, and treat others in his likeness. We then wear the belt of truth, this comes from reading, studying and believing in the word. Next the Heavenly Father is our shield of faith and we wear him as our shield. We don’t forget that he is our provider, protector, and our Lord and Savior. He is also our shoes of peace, meaning he gives us peace as we live for him. We also have the sword of the spirit, where we actually use the Lords word by declaring The Heavenly Fathers decrees into our lives and in the world. This is how he makes us new and this is why nothing evil can stand in the Lord’s presence because he is holy and sovereign above all things. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ So it is very important to read the holy word, renew your mind, and to take it in just as much as we do everything else in the world. And we should actually take in the word more than the things of the world, because the word dose not profit as the Heavenly Kingdom dose. The Heavenly Father wants the best for us, and wants us to be successful in our walk with him. He does not want us out into the world, not knowing who he is or how to fight or to know who he is to us. We learn how it is that he protects us from evil and how we can fight against evil by surrendering to the Heavenly Father, renewing our minds, and choosing his his life over our worldly desires.
